im back at school now, only 12 more weeks of school to go until end-of-yr exams, the last 12 weeks of school.....well until uni, if i get into 1.

15/06/2011 - minecraft vs terraria? pt.4

there's the bosses in terraria, they look more threatening than they actually are. there's 3 of them right now (v1.0.4, 4 if you count slime king as well). not sure what im trying to add to my opinion here, just thought ill add it in anyway =p.

dungeon raid i think was a very well done part of terraria, there's actually so much good loot in there, but you can pretty much get them all in around 2 dungeons, even in small worlds. they acually gives good things like unique times(awesome weapons and spells), unlike in minecraft, the only 2 things (v.1.6.6) you cant get anywhere else is the saddle and apple.


at the end of the day, i like both games, they hav their pros and cons. what i dont want is the developers copying each other, at a point they become identical. it's a bad move saying this, notch.

there are things i didnt talk about like worlds management and magic in terraria, i might create another post for them, i simply didnt include them here because i didnt think it mattered enough in differentiating the two games.
