a very short lived moment of glory, in the first "successful" run |
i recommend this game to any1 who dont mind a goalless sandbox game, space shooter, and frustration. it's HIGHLY possible that ull get killed on the first wave of kilos (rainbow colour). but we will prevail, and when we do, we'll say "this was a triumph" =D.
but then again i did only get this game today roughly 6hrs ago, died 6times until i got this considerable result. i learnt to reroll the starter gear from the info bouy so u get a easy(ier) start, but that also changes the "culture" of the ships at the start, meh. just never start with sprint boosters, i dont like them.
anyway, before i bought successor, i did play forever for quite abit and a got this instead
captain forever, as u can see, it's overall higher rank than my captain successor attempt. |
my usual strategy -
i kinda discovered the "serif I" formation of modules, it gives good mobility and enough front cannons. i think it's a good setup, but i might need to reboot my interpretation after buying successor. the serif I was good because in forever, all the boosters r only 1 sided, if u read the formula how the game calculates turning speed (torque) the outwards arms gives good distance of the centre axel, thus good turning power, and with the same thruster/booster, u get forward/backwards thrust/break as well.
i tried a "pirate ship" type ship before, it's a "H" instead of a "serif I", it kinda works but the control can get slightly troublesome. but it gives realy good strafing power, even without Q/E control.
p.s. i know my ships arent the most glorious. there's WAY better ones on the web.
